PETER BREGMAN began his career teaching leadership on thirty-day
mountaineering expeditions with Outward Bound and the National Outdoor Leadership
School. After starting his own leadership training company, he moved into
the consulting field with the Hay Group and Andersen Consulting. In 1998 he
founded Bregman Partners to help organizations with the people side of major
change. His clients have included AT&T, GE Capital, JP Morgan Chase, Bank
of America, Salomon Smith Barney, American Express, Goldman Sachs, and his
personal favorite, Victoria's Secret. He has written the book, A Short
Guide to a Big Change, and has been widely quoted by Fortune,
Bloomberg, and his mother. He graduated Princeton University (BA)
in 1989 and Columbia Business School (MBA) in 1996.
RABBI ROLANDO J. MATALON is the Senior Rabbi at Congregation
B'nai Jeshurun in New York City. He graduated from the Seminario Rabinico
Latino Americano in Buenos Aires, and received his rabbinical ordination
and Master of Hebrew Letters from the Jewish Theological Seminary in New
York.
PENINNAH SCHRAM, an internationally known storyteller,
performer, and teacher. In 1995, Peninnah was a recipient of the prestigious
Covenant Award for Outstanding Jewish Educators and just received the
1999 National Storytelling Membership Association's Circle of Excellence
Award.
Consultants
KAREN ABRAMS, a organizational consultant specializing
in team management and conflict resolution, has been working with the
Storahtelling administration to facilitate organizational growth.
AMY HELLER, an M.A. candidate in Educational Theatre
at New York University, is working with Storahtelling to further develop
and refine the Schooltime training curriculum.
JOEL HOFFMAN, Ph.D, teaches translation theory and Hebrew
at Hebrew Union College. He works with Storahtelling as a translation
and theoretical linguistics consultant.
ALIZA MAZOR, is a consultant with Bikkurim: UJC/JESNA's
Incubator for New Jewish Ideas, and is working with Storahtelling on structural
and fundraising development. She recently served as Director of Training for
AMOS: The National Jewish Partnership for Social Justice.
ORA SHTULL is working with Storahtelling as a communications
consultant.
MEREDITH WOOCHER is Director of Jewish Educator Recruitment/Retention
Initiative for Covenant Foundation. She works with Storahtelling as an evaluation
consultant, focusing primarily on training program initiatives.
